Dr. Joni Shimp, with over 20 years in veterinary medicine, surgery, and animal behavior, earned her DVM from North Carolina State University. She founded Cape Fear Raptor Center and excels in leadership, client care, and hospital management.

Dr Patel
Dr. Patel received her bachelor's in veterinary medicine and animal husbandry in 2011, followed by a master's in veterinary surgery and radiology and a senior research fellowship for diagnosis and treatment of captive and wild animals at Anand Agriculture University in India. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine equivalency through the American Veterinary Medical Association in 2022.
